The new website had to match the splendour of its surroundings and take users on a journey to Chamonix, France.
Along with the typical features of a tourism website, the new website also had to integrate an external booking system to handle online bookings and enquiries.
A particular focus was integrated of a Mailchimp signup form into the footer to gather potential leads, welcome guests into the Couttet exosystem, and keep guests engaged with news and updates.
To add an extra level of complexity, the site also needed a complete French translation, for the French market.

One thing that sets chalet Couttet’s website apart from the competition is the care and attention given to providing local amenties and interests for the guests. We included a showcase of local activities for the user to explore in advance of arriving at Chalet Couttet.
A full page was required to showcase the level of quality on offer at Chalet Couttet. This gallery allows users to explore the chalet online, and filter the gallery by room type.

The new website integrates Supercontrol, a bespoke booking solution for holiday accommodation which allows users to seamlessly book online, and allows Calet Couttet to manage their own online booking calendar.
The end of each page features a dramatic climax: a fade-in poem and dramatic parallax panorama of Chamonix.
I helped design and digitalize a logo for Chalet Couttet, to update their existing branding and bring a more modern, youthful feel to the brand.
I worked closesly with the Couttet team to come up with a revised logo for the chalet, and helped digitalize the new logo concept into a finished logo
