The Strategy
ScotYacht charters is a new yacht chartering business with two of the largest charter yachts on the West coast of Scotland.
Scott knew of my experience marketing for other travel & tourism brands in Scotland and asked for my help with his own business.
He asked me to create a new brand identity which would represent his business, and design a Scottish themed website to showcase the benefits of his rental fleet.
Brand Strategy for Scotyacht Charters
The brand was to reflect ScotYacht Charters’s core values of focus on quality. The logo was simple but bold with a chunky font to inspire trust.

The logo is a clever combination of a sailing yacht reflection on the water surface, combined with the Scottish flag.

It works equally as well inverted, or over color photography.
Color Selection
The colour selection was a no brainer for me, with the blues taken from the Scottish flag, and ocean tones.
Websites for Tourism
The Website required Design Hero to present all information necessary for customers to book online in a way that tied in with the newly refreshed brand image.
Scott was keen to reduce paperwork needed to handle enquiries for ScotYacht Charters in Inverclyde, Argyll & Bute and beyond.
I designed the site around the ScotYacht Charters brand presenting information to potential charterers such as yacht specifications, cruising areas, prices, terms & Conditions and potential itineraries.
This meant Scott could reduce the time he spent dealing with enquiries by presenting the information online.
