Marc provides inspections of applied coating systems for structural steelwork, concrete, & specialist applications.
He had been operating for a while, but he was so busy chasing clients, that he’d never gotten round to branding, or putting any focus to his business marketing. It happens with many small business owners like Marc.
Marc had a logo, but as I explained to Marc, a logo is not a brand.
I stepped in to help with a brand identity for MC Coating Inspections which could be applied to the business as a whole and impress current and potential clients.
I explained to Marc that if he put some time into his website now, it could do his marketing for him:
He could use it as a sales tool to close the deal with potential clients.
I decided to focus on the level of quality and experience provided by Marc, as this was the genuine value that he provided over his competition.
This brand was to extend to a new budget website and design of flyers for mail distribution.
I designed the brand around a minimal, typography-based logo which would convey quality and reliability.
The logo incorporates a spyglass visual from the previous logo, as well as a stylized paint swoosh into the lettering.
I chose corporate blues to inspire trust, and bright yellows to contrast, and add brightness and optimism.
Marc had a fixed budget for the website, but I told him:
“the budget is in your control!”
I designed Marc a website which he could use as a sales tool to impress clients:
The website is a single page scrolling site which uses imagery to convey the scope of services offered.
Each sector has been broken down with a brief explanation, leaning on the imagery to convey the message.
Dropdown accordians help explain MC Coating Inspections services and value to their user.
I also helped Marc by designing a series of brochures which could be handed to potential clients explaining the services offered by MC Coating Inspections.
The results were beyond expectation, a great website that receives compliments from visitors.
