We designed and built the website for a coaching community helping tradesmen and construction business owners scale beyond the tools.
Trade Sales Club is a coaching community built for tradesmen, kitchen showroom owners, builders and contractors β skilled people who are brilliant on the tools but were never taught how to sell, price, or scale what they’d built. It’s led by someone who has lived that exact journey: over 15 years in direct sales, Β£20M+ in personal sales, and a kitchen showroom he grew to Β£1M in under two years. He didn’t build this from a textbook β he built it from the tools up.
Most trade businesses hit the same wall. The owner is the best fitter, sparky or builder in the room, but they’re also the only salesperson, the only quoter, and the only one chasing the next job. Work comes in waves β feast or famine β and every quiet month brings the same quiet panic. Trade Sales Club exists to fix that: to turn a skilled tradesperson’s inconsistent hustle into a business with a real, repeatable sales process behind it. But a mission like that needed a home that felt as credible and no-nonsense as the man delivering it β and the site they had wasn’t doing that story justice.
We were brought in to design and build a website that could carry the weight of that mission β a site that spoke to tradesmen in their language, made the offer (community membership, the 12-week Trade Sales Challenge, and 1-1 coaching through the Accelerator) instantly easy to understand, and gave the brand the credibility it needed to convert a skeptical, time-poor audience who are used to being sold to and don’t have patience for fluff.
Tradesmen aren’t a typical online audience. They’re mid-job, on their phones, and allergic to anything that smells like corporate coaching-speak. The site had to earn trust fast β leaning on the founder’s own track record and the honest, “no waffle” voice of the brand β while still doing the practical job of getting visitors into the right offer, whether that was a free Sales MOT, the Challenge, or 1-1 coaching.
We built the site around clarity and credibility rather than polish for polish’s sake: straightforward navigation between the community, the Challenge and the Accelerator, a design language that felt sturdy and grounded rather than corporate, and messaging-first layouts that let the founder’s story and testimonials from real trade businesses do the heavy lifting. Every page was built to answer the tradesman’s real question fast β “what do I actually get, and will this work for someone like me?”
Trade Sales Club now has a website that matches the confidence of the brand behind it β a site that looks like it belongs to someone who has genuinely walked the walk, and one the team can point new members and prospective clients to with pride. It gave the business a proper digital front door: somewhere the mission, the offer and the founder’s credibility all land clearly, instead of getting lost.
